We, by our very nature, are meant to be in motion. So what if it’s hard and there are all of these obstacles, “I’m determined to get there – no mater what.” Our culture seems to look at these people as real “go-getters” that make things happen.īoth of these approaches are going against the flow of nature. You hear people say “I’ll just wait until I retire.” Or “I’ll wait until the kids are off to college.” My favorite is “I’ll wait until can do it perfectly.”Īnother way of looking at timing is: some people don’t wait and they just plow ahead no matter what. The first way is for us spend our lives waiting for the right opportunity to present itself.

There seem to be two distinct ways to look at the problem of timing. So many things capture our interest and we want to do them, but our self-doubt comes in and says “If I only had the a) time, b) money, c) energy, then I could do everything I ever wanted.” Better yet, if you could tap into the knowledge of what you are SUPPOSED to be doing, it would help you make better decisions.

When we are out of the flow or even going against the flow, it can feel frustrating and like we are getting no where, fast. Things naturally go at a certain pace and when we are “in the flow” things are much easier. We all know the phrase “timing is everything” but we don’t spend a lot of time contemplating the thought that there is a flow of the universe. It’s also about recognizing the subtle signs of support for our journey and knowing when the signs point us to a new direction. It’s about knowing when to push and when to pull back. No matter what, be open to the idea that your plans could change, and it might be for the better.Divine Timing Learning to go with the (spiritual) flowĪs of late, I’ve been exploring the phrase “Divine Timing.” As the words might suggest, it is about being in tune with happenings from a Divine or higher perspective. Watch this video to see if you’ve tapped into Diving Timing: Maybe that means becoming a doctor, or perhaps the world needs you to become a healer or maybe a spiritual healer of different sorts. Sure, you can plan to become a doctor after you finish school, but ultimately, the universe will guide you down the right path for you. While you might be able to design things to a certain degree, the right timing for everything happens when the universe wants. If you are someone that plans every moment of your day, this is going to be a harsh rule to accept. When possible negative emotions or situations arise, don’t run away but sift through them carefully, you might be surprised at what happens. Resisting things, such as painful or uncomfortable areas of our life, only hinders our acceptance of the universe’s timing. Usually because this is a time when we need to look deep within ourselves and grow.ĭon’t hide from any discomfort life brings your way because that is the perfect time to develop. On the way to manifesting your dreams, the universe might expose uncomfortable areas of your life. Try to let go of what once was and embrace what could be because that’s where divine timing lives.ĭo not cling to the past. When we cling to the past or the way things used to be, we have a challenging time accepting universal timing. Life is always in flux, but it can be hard to see that. You might find useful insight as well as the path to patience. Take time to slow down and examine why you want the world to hurry up to meet your needs. You might find that your impatience is hiding other emotions such as fear or jealousy or maybe even pressure from outside forces. If you do feel impatient, really examine that emotion. It can be difficult to accept that the universe will give you what you want when you need it and patience can be elusive. Patience is perhaps the hardest and the most important rule to embrace when it comes to divine timing. This is a tricky concept and one that can take time to hone and use, so don’t try to rush. Try not to think of these as hard and fast rules but more of a guide on your way to accepting divine timing.

Here a video about the Divine Timing signs the Universe gives you: It might not always look the way you pictured, and it might not always be what you imagined, but it has happened just as it should.īecause divine timing can feel like you are losing control of your life, learning a few of the rules can help you live in the present and be excited about the future. You can also look at divine timing as the way the universe manifests your dreams and goals in its own way. The universe is here to take care of you and will never put you in a place that you can’t handle.
